And of course, the CES 2014 was a wonderful opportunity for Volvo to come up with a serious of updates for the Sensus Connect system.
The system updates “center on cloud-based connectivity advancements”, including a new feature called Park&Pay, allowing drivers to look for all parking spaces available and pay from their own car.
Another fine features of the Sensus Connect infotainment would involve Pandore-streaming internet radio, Wikipedia, dealer appointment booking, remote start via smartphone, or searches for any destination attractions.
The Swedish car manufacturer has also come a big step forward with its refreshed interface of the system, coming “with graphically themed center and driver displays”, with better voice control and text-to-speech capabilities.
The new improved system updates may seem to be embodied in the same old 7-inch infotainment display, but things look promising, as Volvo is considering to renew the size for the up-coming all-new XC-90 crossovers and subsequent models.
