First Mercedes order in 2011: 1300 Sprinter vans
If you want to learn how to push your sales rep’s productivity you should send them over for a crash course with somebody at Mercedes.
Why? Because with just one day gone from the new year their employees managed to sell 1300 Sprinter vans.
As you’d expect, this sort of order doesn’t come from a single person, but a fleet operating company. The contract Mercedes landed came from Germany’s Deutsche Post DHL service.
According to the press release, DHL chose the Mercedes Sprinter because of its great coverage of a wide array of crucial areas. The 2011 Mercedes Sprinter achieves class leading durability, fuel economy and emission strictness.
That’s in standard guise, in DHL shape, the 2011 Mercedes Sprinter has been somewhat reconfigured with some different accommodations. The roof has been heightened so that standing up and going in the back is easier. There is a low loading access door and plenty of extra comfort and ergonomics options for the interior.
The actual sale took place at one of the Mercedes-Benz dealerships for Cologne and Leverkusen in Frechen.
This sort of metal shifting made DHL say they are proud to be the owner-operator of such products while Volker Mornhinweg, Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans is chuffed to have landed this order. The sale also included the turning over (delivery) of two of the new vans acquired by Deutsche Post DHL.
