The British at Lotus haven’t really had the best of comebacks into Formula 1 racing and as a result it may prove to be a serious cost to them.

In cutting back to those costs, Lotus has had very little to do apart from unveil a few of these special editions of their current cars.

Within that lineup we see this, the new 2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition, basically a limited edition Evora with a special paint job that can relate to the F1 livery of Lotus cars.

I’m not kidding, there really isn’t that much more to offer with the 2012 Lotus Evora S GP, but if you’re willing to have one of only three cars out there, it may be worth it.

The cost offset between a regular 2012 Lotus Evora S and this F1 special edition is £7.500 which is roughly 11.775 USD.

Apparently Lotus tells us that part of the special edition Evora S GP is an interior package with suede upholstery and red stitching.

There’s a bit of a problem here since none of those is related to F1 racing and you can pretty much get this option in a Vauxhall Astra for a whole lot less.

I’m tempted to advice against the 2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition since it basically portrays some of the slowest F1 racing cars out there.
